Lin-Manuel Miranda's 'Freestyle Love Supreme' sets October return to Broadway

June 16 (UPI) -- Interactive rap musical Freestyle Love Supreme, from co-creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, is coming back to Broadway starting in October.

The show will play at Broadway's Booth Theatre from Oct. 7 to Jan. 2, 2022. Tickets go on sale for the general public on June 23 at 10 a.m. EDT.

Freestyle Love Supreme is based on suggestions from the audience, which inspire rap freestyles. Miranda co-created the show with Thomas Kail and Anthony Veneziale.

Special guests will also appear to join in on the show including Miranda. Andrew Bancroft, Tarik Davis, Aneesa Folds, Arthur Lewis, Kaila Mullady, Chris Sullivan and Anthony Veneziale star.

"If live theater is coming back, so is FLS. Our most important collaborator is the audience, and we can't wait to get in the Booth," Miranda said in a statement.

Miranda recently joined Jimmy Fallon for a star-studded performance of "You'll Be Back" from Hamilton on The Tonight Show. The re-worked version of the song was themed around Broadway plays being open for business again starting in September.
