WWE Raw: Drew McIntyre teams with Viking Raiders, Eva Marie arrives

June 15 (UPI) -- Drew McIntyre joined forces with The Viking Raiders to take on WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos on Raw.

The main event bout on Monday was made after McIntyre's original match with Styles ended in a disqualification.

The Scottish Warrior had attacked Lashley outside the ring while the champ was viewing the action from ringside. Lashley then went after McIntyre inside the ring, causing the bout with Styles to end.

Styles and Omos were left alone momentarily as Lashley changed into his wrestling gear backstage for the second match. The Almighty started to dominate The Viking Raiders after arriving and soon McIntyre was standing face-to-face with the towering Omos.

Omos choked McIntyre, who punched his way out of it. Styles then entered the match. The Phenomenal One, during a pivotal moment, went to tag in Omos but accidentally tagged in Lashley instead.

Lashley, confused at what happened, was distracted long enough for McIntyre to take him down with a well-timed Claymore to win the match.

Lashley defends his WWE Championship against McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell on Sunday. If McIntyre loses, he will not get to challenge Lashley for the title ever again.

Eva Marie, after weeks of hyping up her return to WWE, finally arrived on Raw for her first match in years against Naomi.

Marie did not come alone, however, and brought with her the formidable Piper Niven from NXT UK.

Niven took on Naomi in Marie's place and won the match in decisive fashion using her superior strength. Niven put Naomi away and earned the three count after delivering a Michinoku Driver. Marie, afterwards, got on the microphone and declared herself the winner.

Also in the women's division, the demented Alexa Bliss took on Nia Jax one week after Bliss tormented Jax's tag team partner Shayna Baszler.

Bliss was able to hold her own against the much bigger Jax and withstood any punishment. Bliss brought Jax down with a Dropkick followed by a DDT.

Bliss went to the top rope and performed Twisted Bliss, however, Jax's partner Reginald then entered the ring and stopped the ensuing pinning attempt to end the bout in a disqualification.

Bliss ended the confrontation by staring at Reginald and started to hypnotize him until Jax came to the rescue. Bliss will take on Baszler Sunday at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event.

Other moments from Raw included Nikki Cross defeating Charlotte Flair by count-out; Flair assaulting Cross afterwards until Raw Women's Champion Rhea Ripley stepped in; John Morrison defeating Jeff Hardy; Hardy defeating Cedric Alexander in a match where he put his career on the line; RK-Bro defeating The New Day; Ripley defeating Asuka before getting into a massive brawl with Flair; and Jaxson Ryker defeating Elias by count-out.

Ripley defends her title against Flair Sunday at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event.
