What to stream this weekend: 'The Conjuring,' 'Lisey's Story'

June 4 (UPI) -- Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga investigate a demonic possession in The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, Julianne Moore and Clive Owen star in Stephen King adaptation Lisey's Story and Pose wraps up its third and final season this weekend.

In addition, Elton John, Dolly Parton, Jojo Siwa and more are taking part in LGBTQ benefit Can't Cancel Pride, CBS presents the 43rd annual Kennedy Center Honors and Celebrity Family Feud enters into its seventh season.


Here's a rundown on some of the films and television shows that are set to be released this weekend.


'The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It' -- HBO Max

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are back as real-life paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren in this horror sequel, which is coming to HBO Max on Friday. The duo are investigating the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, who was the first to claim demonic possession as a defense for committing a crime. Michael Chaves serves as director.


'Breaking Boundaries: The Science of Our Planet' -- Netflix

David Attenborough narrates this documentary that explores how humanity has pushed Earth beyond the boundaries that have kept the planet stable, which premieres Friday on Netflix. The film features world-renowned scientist Johan Rockström and offers solutions that must happen in order to protect Earth's life support systems.


'Lisey's Story' -- Apple TV+

Julianne Moore and Clive Owen star in this Stephen King adaptation, which arrives Friday on Apple TV+. The eight-episode limited series, based on King's novel of the same name, follows Moore as the widow of a famous author (Owen). Moore is pressured to release her husband's unpublished work and must revisit memories she has blocked out of her mind.

'Feel Good' Season 2 -- Netflix

Mae Martin returns as a fictionalized version of herself in Season 2 of Feel Good, which comes to Netflix on Friday. Martin and her ex-girlfriend George, portrayed by Charlotte Ritchie, get close again after reuniting at the end of Season 1.

'The Mosquito Coast' Season 1 finale -- Apple TV+


The Fox family are forced into a crisis in the Season 1 finale of The Mosquito Coast, which premieres Friday on Apple TV+. Justin Theroux and Melissa George portray parents on the run who relocate their family to Mexico in the series, based on the best-selling book of the same name by Paul Theroux.

'WWE SmackDown' -- Fox

Twins Jey and Jimmy Uso have reformed and are challenging father and son duo Rey and Dominik Mysterio for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships on WWE SmackDown, which airs Friday at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox. Universal Champion Roman Reigns seems unhappy about Jey Uso rejoining his brother and Rey Mysterio is still trying to figure out who attacked him from behind last week.

'Can't Cancel Pride' -- Roku Channel, iHeartRadio

Elton John, Dolly Parton, Kylie Minogue, Bebe Rexha, Jojo Siwa, Brothers Osbourne, Pink, Demi Lovato, Lil Nas X, Jennifer Hudson, Brandi Carlile and more are taking part in the Can't Cancel Pride benefit event, which takes place Friday at 9 p.m. EDT. The event, which will air across the Roku Channel, iHeartRadio's social media channels, radio stations app and, will raise funds for LGBTQ organizations.


'Celebrity Family Feud' Season 7 premiere -- ABC

Rob Lowe will face off against Terrence Howard in the Season 7 premiere of Celebrity Family Feud, which airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC. Steve Harvey is back as host. Lowe is playing for charity The Wounded Warrior Project and Howard is playing for The Dragon Kim Foundation.

'The 43rd annual Kennedy Center Honors' -- CBS

Garth Brooks, Dick Van Dyke, Debbie Allen, Joan Baez and violinist Midori will be celebrated at the 43rd annual Kennedy Center Honors, which airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC. The annual event pays homage to those who have made a profound, artistic impact. Gloria Estefan is serving as the host.

'Pose' Series Finale -- FX

Pose will end with its third and final season, which airs Sunday at 10 p.m. EDT on FX. Billy Porter's Pray Tell is still dealing with health issues after reconnecting with his family in the final episode as Mj Rodriguez's Blanca joins LBGTQ civil rights organization ACT UP. The final season has taken place in 1994 as AIDS became the leading cause of death for Americans aged 25 to 44.
