Pussycat Dolls singer Jessica Sutta gives birth to first child

June 2 (UPI) -- Pussycat Dolls singer Jessica Sutta is a new mom.

The 39-year-old recording artist welcomed her first child, son Michael Jesse, aka MJ, with her husband, Mikey Marquart, on May 25.

Sutta shared the news Tuesday on Instagram alongside photos of her baby boy.

"He's here! I am thrilled for you to meet our beautiful baby boy Michael Jesse "MJ" Marquart, born 5/25 at 8lbs 6oz & delivered by the amazing Dr. Karla Iacampo + team at St. John's Hospital," Sutta captioned the post.

"Mikey & I can't wait for everyone to meet him, but for now, we will be adjusting to our new roles as parents to this beautiful boy," she said. "Thanks for all your love and support!"

Fellow Pussycat Dolls members Carmit Bachar and Kimberly Wyatt were among those to congratulate Sutta in the comments.

"Congrats!!! Love you all sooo much!!! Cannot wait to meet your angel," Bachar wrote.

"Beautiful Mumma!!! Congratulations babe!! Beyond happy and excited for you!!! Can't wait to meet him and hold him and love him," Wyatt said.

Sutta and Marquart married in September 2019 and announced in March that they were expecting their first child.

"Our little sailor boy MJ coming in May 2021," Sutta said at the time.

Sutta came to fame with the Pussycat Dolls, who last released the single "React" in February 2020. The group also consists of Bachar, Wyatt, Ashley Roberts and Nicole Scherzinger.
