May 28 (UPI) -- Emma Stone portrays a classic Disney villain in Cruella, two teens must find a Plan B pill in a new Hulu original film and Michael Douglas' The Kominsky Method returns with its third and final season this weekend.
In addition, Mare of Easttown starring Kate Winslet comes to an end, Lucifer with Tom Ellis returns for Season 5 Part 2 and HBO presents a film adaptation on Tony Award-winning play Oslo.
Here's a rundown on some of the films and television shows that are set to be released this weekend.
Films
'Cruella' -- Disney+
Emma Stone takes on the role of Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians in this live-action origin story, which comes to Disney+ with premiere access on Friday. Stone wants to take over the fashion world and seeks revenge against Emma Thompson. Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham and Mark strong also star in the film, from director Craig Gillespie.
'Plan B' -- Hulu
Kuhoo Verma and Victoria Moroles star as two high school best friends who take a road trip in order to find a Plan B pill in this Hulu original film, which premieres Friday on the streaming service. Verma's Sunny has a regrettable first sexual encounter but isn't having any luck obtaining the pill in South Dakota. Natalie Morales serves as director.
'Dog Gone Trouble' -- Netflix
Pampered dog Trouble gets lost and must survive the big city when his wealthy owner dies in Dog Gone Trouble, which arrives Friday on Netflix. The animated family film features the voices of Big Sean, Pamela Adlon and Lucy Hale.
'Launchpad' -- Disney+
Disney presents a collection of six, live-action short films by young filmmakers from underrepresented backgrounds in Launchpad, which arrives Friday on Disney+. Each film is based on the theme of discover and the filmmakers got to work with mentors from Disney+, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios.
'Oslo' -- HBO
Ruth Wilson and Andrew Scott star in this film adaptation of Tony Award-winning play Oslo, which premieres Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT on HBO. The adaptation, from director Bartlett Sher, follows the true story of the development and negotiations of the 1990s Oslo Peace Accords between Israel and the Palestinian Liberation Organization.

'Panic' -- Amazon Prime Video
Graduating seniors compete in a series of increasingly dangerous games in order to win a cash prize in Panic, which comes to Amazon Prime Video on Friday. Olivia Welch stars in the drama series, written and created by Lauren Oliver, which his based on her bestselling novel of the same name.
'The Kominsky Method' Season 3 -- Netflix
Michael Douglas' Sandy Kominsky must move on following the death of his best friend and agent in the third and final season of The Kominsky Method, which premieres Friday on Netflix. Douglas is joined by Kathleen Turner in the final season, who portrays Sandy's ex-wife Ruth.
'Lucifer' Season 5 Part 2 -- Netflix
Tom Ellis is back as Lucifer Morningstar in Lucifer Season 5 Part 2, which arrives Friday on Netflix. Lucifer will struggle with daddy issues after God (Dennis Haysbert) arrives on Earth. Lucifer and his twin brother Michael will fight to take over the role. Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, D.B. Woodside and Lesley-Ann Brandt also star.
'AEW Double or Nothing' -- B/R Live
All Elite Wrestling presents its latest pay-per-view event Double or Nothing, which takes place Sunday starting at 8 p.m. EDT. Fans can watch the action through B/R Live or other pay-per-view services. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega defends his title against Orange Cassidy and Pac in a Triple Threat match. The Pinnacle and The Inner will also collide in a high-stakes Stadium Stampede match.
'Mare of Easttown' series finale -- HBO, HBO Max
Kate Winslet's small-town detective will find out the truth in the series finale of limited series Mare of Easttown, which airs Sunday at 10 p.m. EDT. The show can also be streamed on HBO Max.
