May 28 (UPI) -- South Korean boy band BTS took the stage on Good Morning America.

The K-pop group performed "Butter" and celebrated the song's success during Friday's episode of the ABC morning show.

BTS released "Butter," its second English-language single, last week. The song has broken records since its release, including becoming the fastest music video to reach 200 million views on YouTube.

BTS commented on the song's success on GMA.

"It feels great to see people all around the world enjoy it so much," RM said.

RM also voiced love for the group's fans, known as ARMY.

"They are the best!" he said.

BTS also credited ARMY with inspiring its hit songs.

"Thinking of ARMY, that's the biggest inspiration," RM said.

BTS performed "Butter" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this week. The group also showcased their ideas for new hand gestures after helping to popularize finger hearts.

BTS released its fifth Korean album, Be, in November. The album features the single "Life Goes On" and the English-language hit "Dynamite."
