Rebecca Frecknall is directing the production at the Kit Kat Club.

The audience will be limited to 550 people.

Live performances were canceled and productions shut down for about a year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Theaters only recently began announcing when they will reopen their doors.

Cabaret features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Joe Masteroff. It is set in a seedy, bohemian nightclub in 1930s Berlin.

The show opened on Broadway in 1966 and won eight Tony awards.

A 1972 film adaptation earned eight Oscars.
