Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Jersey Shore star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is celebrating four years of sobriety on Instagram.
"Celebrating 4 Years Clean & Sober," the reality television star said on Thursday alongside a photo of himself posing while wearing a grey suit.
Mike Sorrentino's sobriety was a featured aspect of MTV's Jersey Shore: Family Vacation with The Situation opting out of drinking with his co-stars Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Paul 'Pauly D' DelVecchio, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni 'JWoww' Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick.
The 37-year-old was released from federal prison in September after he pleaded guilty to tax evasion in January 2018.
Mike Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, announced in November that she had a miscarriage.
Lauren Sorrentino said that she conceived the night Mike Sorrentino returned from prison but then had a miscarriage weeks later.
