Aug. 9 (UPI) -- SummerSlam, WWE's biggest party of the summer, takes place on Sunday and will feature high-caliber championship matches, careers put on the line and the return of two Hall of Famers.
The action will be aired live on the WWE Network and pay-per-view from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto at 7 p.m. ET.
Here are the top matches scheduled to take place and UPI's predicted winners:
Brock Lesnar (champion) vs. Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship
This rematch from WrestleMania 35 will most likely put Seth Rollins' rivalry with Brock Lesnar to bed and show the direction WWE wants to go in for the rest of the year. Lesnar has dominated Rollins since their battle at WrestleMania, even sending the high-flyer to the hospital. The Beast in turn appears to be more unstoppable than ever, while Rollins limps around like he did on Raw Monday with bandages wrapped around his stomach. An injured Rollins refusing to quit and still being able to defeat WWE's toughest opponent would be a perfect moment for SummerSlam which will leave fans cheering. Never count out Lesnar, however, and how WWE loves to keep the Universal Championship around his waist -- not to mention how SummerSlam is when Lesnar thrives with the champ having previously claimed huge victories against Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Triple H and John Cena at the annual event.
Predicted winner: Brock Lesnar
Kofi Kingston (champion) vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship
Kofi Kingston taking on Randy Orton for the WWE Championship is a bout that is years in the making. Kingston has successfully defeated all challengers to his WWE Championship but he has yet to face an opponent of Orton's caliber. Kingston needs a victory here over his former nemesis in order to give himself a truly memorable title run and to prove that he is here to stay in the main event picture. Orton, while still popular, has been appearing in WWE more and more sporadically, making it unlikely that he will become one of the company's main centerpieces anytime soon. This match has the potential to steal the show and offer something athletic and surprising. Expect Kingston's Trouble in Paradise or Orton's RKO to be unleashed out of nowhere for a sudden victory. Kingston's Cinderella story still has a lot left in the tank. WWE would be foolish to not keep it going and keep fans happy before they witness Lesnar crushing Rollins.
Predicted winner: Kofi Kingston
Becky Lynch (champion) vs. Natalya in a Submission Match for the Raw Women's Championship
Becky Lynch is one of the WWE's biggest stars, but will she be boo'd out of the building when she faces off against Canada's own Natalya in Toronto? Natalya has everything going for her, the favorable crowd, a new mean streak and the match itself which can only be won by making your opponent tap out. Natalya is a submission specialist who has the historically effective Sharpshooter at her disposal while Lynch will have to rely on her trusty Dis-arm-her hold. The Man has the odds stacked against her, but Lynch always seems to pull ahead no matter how bad things are looking. Lynch should win here as she still has plenty of worthy opponents she can battle for the Raw Women's Championship following an extended rivalry with Lacey Evans. The one advantage Lynch has to winning is recently being announced as one of the cover stars for video game WWE 2K20 alongside Roman Reigns. Lynch, at least until October when the game launches, will probably continue to win.

Charlotte Flair vs. Trish Stratus
Trish Stratus, like Natalya, is also a Canadian hero who will have the Toronto crowd fully behind her as she hails from the city. This is a dream match that pits two of WWE's biggest female stars against each other in a battle of past vs. present. Flair has captured more gold and has earned more victories than any other woman since 2015 while Stratus laid the groundwork for Flair to soar during her heyday in the 2000s. Stratus is a retired Hall of Famer with nothing left to prove but a victory over Flair will make up for Natalya losing in Canada on the same show. Flair has won so many times and has had so many big moments that losing to a living legend will not hurt her.
Predicted winner: Trish Stratus
Kevin Owens vs. Shan McMahon with Owen's career on the line
Kevin Owens is tired of Shane McMahon running WWE and is taking drastic measures in order to take him out. McMahon has been a central antagonist on both Raw and Smackdown with Owens being the perfect anti-authority figure to stop him. Owens will most likely have to contend with Drew McIntyre and Elias being at ringside or McMahon using his power to change the rules of the match on the fly. McMahon should be defeated here in order to keep things fresh on Raw and Smackdown with perhaps a different member of the McMahon family running things. Owens, additionally, just returned to WWE in February and is still finding his way as a fan-favorite character after always being portrayed as a villain.
Predicted winner: Kevin Owens
Goldberg vs. Dolph Ziggler
Goldberg's surprise reappearance on Raw Monday set up this bout which gives SummerSlam it's second Hall of Famer competing inside the squared circle once again. Goldberg will surely want to make up for his performance against The Undertaker at Super Showdown in June while Ziggler wants to prove that he is one of the all-time greats. This clash is the easiest to predict with Goldberg running over Ziggler with a Jackhammer and Spear being all but guaranteed. Goldberg can't possibly have too many matches left in him but when he does decide to hang up his boots for good, it will be after he loses to an opponent more on his level.
Predicted winner: Goldberg
'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor
Bray Wyatt will finally get to wrestle in WWE once again in this match against Finn Balor. Wyatt will be in his mysterious Fiend form which was introduced on the grappler's demented children's program, Firefly Funhouse. Wyatt has all the momentum behind him as fans are hungry for the Eater of Worlds to fully return. The Fiend will shine here, getting a decisive victory over Balor that will help him appear even more menacing. Balor is also rumored to be taking a break from WWE following SummerSlam. The whole world will be in Wyatt's hands after Sunday, the only question is who will be his next victim.
Predicted winner: 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt
Other predictions include Bayley defeating Ember Moon to retain the Smackdown Women's Championship; Ricochet defeating AJ Styles to become the new United States Champion; and Drew Gulak defeating Oney Lorcan to retain the Cruiserweight Championship.
