July 30 (UPI) -- The Hills alum Doug Reinhardt is introducing his newborn sons following their stay in the neonatal intensive care unit.

The 33-year-old television personality and former baseball player said Monday on Instagram that Maverick and Beau, his twin sons with fiancée Mia Irons, are "healthy" after spending a month and a half in the hospital.

Reinhardt shared a slideshow of photos of Maverick and Beau at the hospital and at home in Laguna Beach, Calif.

"After a month in the hospital and 2 weeks in the NICU I am happy to announce we brought our sons Maverick and Beau Reinhardt home today," he captioned the post. "Thank you to all of our friends and family who have been so supportive over the last 2 months. We are so blessed to have two beautiful and healthy boys."

Irons, who is also parent to son Koby from a previous relationship, posted a family photo on her own account.

"Welcome home Mav & Beau! Our two little identical twin miracles! There is not one word strong enough to express how incredible it feels to finally get to this very day!" the mom of three wrote.

"@dougreinhardt thank you for being the axis that my world revolves around... and devotedly staying by my side 36 nights at the hospital," she added. "I feel a new form of gratitude after sacrificing and surrendering so much. I've never been more thankful for my life and my growing family. I'm in awe. It's so surreal..."

Reinhardt and Irons confirmed Irons' pregnancy in December and announced in February they were expecting twins. Irons praised Reinhardt following her baby shower in February.

"I never met a man so driven & hopeful to nurture & also start a family," she wrote on Instagram. "We've created such an amazing life together, thank you forever! We got 2 IDENTICAL BOYS coming! BOYS! Wow my heart is so full! I can't wait!"

Reinhardt starred on The Hills, which had a six-season run on MTV from 2006 to 2010. People said he previously dated Lauren Conrad, Paris Hilton and Amanda Bynes, and was married to Natalie Sutton from 2017 to 2018.
