Jennifer Lopez crashes ESPN to wish Alex Rodriguez happy birthday

July 29 (UPI) -- Jennifer Lopez crashed ESPN's broadcast of Sunday Night Baseball to wish her fiance Alex Rodriguez happy birthday.

Rodriguez, while in the broadcast booth, was surprised by Lopez who suddenly appeared with a birthday cake alongside his daughters Natasha, 14, and Ella, 11.

"The whole summer has been one large cake," Rodriguez said. The former baseball star celebrated his 44th birthday on Saturday.

Lopez also presented Rodriguez with a birthday cake on Friday when the pop star invited him onstage during a concert in Miami.

"Celebrating you today and everyday my love... you are one of a kind, my hurricane and my calm in the middle of the storm...thank you for being such a beautiful light in my life...wishing you the most beautiful birthday ever!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY 13!!!" Lopez wrote on Instagram alongside footage of the concert audience singing happy birthday to Rodriguez.

Lopez and Rodriguez announced their engagement in March. The couple started dating in 2017.
