March 19 (UPI) -- Mandy Moore explored her love for the outdoors during her honeymoon in Chile. The 34-year-old actress said on Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! she enjoyed an "active" honeymoon following her wedding to Taylor Goldsmith.

"I love being outdoorsy and we wanted to have sort of an active honeymoon," she told host Jimmy Kimmel.
Moore said Goldsmith, a singer for the band Dawes, mainly enjoys reading and playing guitar but was happy to join her outdoors.
"He's very kind to sort of indulge me, the star said. "He woke up at five a.m. on this honeymoon and we hiked a volcano together, so he was very amenable to the plan. He was wonderful about it."
"I think we hiked every single day that we weren't traveling when we were in the country," she added. "I mean, we planned it together -- I don't think he quite knew what he was in for."
Moore and Goldsmith married in November at an intimate wedding in the backyard of their home. The couple asked guests to perform instead of having a wedding band, and ended the evening with a romantic duet.
"Taylor and I got up at the very end and we sang a song together," the actress said.
"We did a Kris Kristofferson-Rita Coolidge duet -- 'The Things I Might Have Been,'" she shared. "It was really beautiful and mellow and the perfect way to cap off the evening."
Moore plays Rebecca Pearson on the NBC series This is Us. The show is in its third season and co-stars Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown and Justin Hartley.
