Dec. 19 (UPI) -- North West took the reins during a photoshoot with her famous mom, Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian, 38, shared a slideshow from her mother-daughter shoot with North, her 5-year-old daughter with Kanye West, Tuesday on Instagram.

One picture shows Kardashian and North giving peace signs, while others capture Kardashian embracing her daughter.

"Me & my bff! North came to visit me on set & said momma can we do a photo shoot together just me and you!" Kardashian captioned the post.

"I followed her poses & direction so here it is! I always dreamed of having a baby girl & she's perfect!" she gushed.

Kardashian is parent to North, 3-year-old son Saint and 11-month-old daughter Chicago. Her sister Khloe Kardashian defended her this week after an online user suggested Chicago, whom Kardashian welcomed via surrogate, isn't the star's biological child.

Kardashian had shared a childhood photo of herself Sunday, leading her sister Kylie Jenner to comment on Kardashian's resemblance to Chicago. Khloe spoke out after one person said Chicago "would either look MORE like Kanye or the surrogate mother."

"Chicago is completely Kimberly's biological child. Praise the lord she was able to have a surrogate and that we are blessed with sweet gorgeous Chi Chi," Khloe responded.

"Chicago is Kimberly's DNA. Her and her husband made embryos and then they were blessed enough to have a surrogate carry their child for them since Kimberly is unable to," she added.
