Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Publisher Square Enix has uploaded onto YouTube the opening cinematic of Kingdom Hearts 3 which recaps previous entries in the crossover series.
The clip, released Sunday, showcases main character Sora's struggle against the villainous Ansem, Organization XIII and Master Xehanort.
Donald, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Kairi and Riku also make an appearance as they all join together in order to aid Sora in battle.
The cinematic also features Kingdom Hearts 3 song "Face My Fears" by Hikaru Utada and Skrillex. Utada previously performed the opening theme songs for Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is set for release on Jan. 29 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The new entry will feature levels based on Disney films such as Toy Story, Frozen, Monsters Inc., Tangled, Big Hero 6, Pirates of the Caribbean and Hercules.
