Jennifer Garner eats at In-N-Out with chef Ina Garten

Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Jennifer Garner visited popular fast food chain In-N-Out with celebrity chef Ina Garten.

The 46-year-old actress enjoyed a cheeseburger with Garten after attending the Barefoot Contessa star's book tour Wednesday in Costa Mesa, Calif.

Garner shared a photo Thursday on Instagram of herself and Garten at the restaurant. The pair were all smiles as they posed between bites of burger.

"@inagarten and @tuesdayrecipe -- you were amazing in your beyond sold out show in Costa Mesa. We hung on every word!" Garner captioned the post.

"But -- celebrating the end of your #CookLikeAPro book tour with @innout = [smile]," she added. "#thisbookisthebestchristmaspresent #ifyoudidntpreorder #storeboughtisfune (#buttheymomialreadyhaveone!)."

Garten shared a similar picture with Garner on her own account.

"Only the best for my friend @jennifer.garner - dinner at @innout after my show in Costa Mesa, CA!! What a fun way to wrap up my fall book tour! #CookLikeaPro," she wrote.

Garner is a longtime fan of Garten's, and even channels the chef in her "Pretend Cooking Show" videos on Facebook. She became friends with Garten after inviting the star to her birthday party in 2015.

"I just think she's so wonderful," Garten said of Garner in an interview with People in March. "I love her videos so much. She is adorable and smart and not at all performing -- that's just who she is."

"Somewhere along the line I found out that she liked my cookbooks and my TV show, so I asked if we could cook together. She was very sweet, she invited me to her birthday party," she recalled.
