Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Rapper Soulja Boy has started selling SouljaGame-branded video game consoles and handhelds from his online storefront, SouljaWatch.

The consoles and handhelds are developed by Anbernic, however, the devices resemble video game emulators that the company has been selling through Chinese online retailer AliExpress under different names, Polygon reported.

The SouljaGame Console SouljaWatch says contains 800, pre-installed classic video games that span titles from the PlayStation 1, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega, Arcade, PC and Neo Geo.

The SouljaGame Handheld offers 3,000 built-in games that span the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance and Neo Geo.

There is no listing for the exact games that appear on the products. The SouljaGame console uses a controller that resembles PlayStation's DualShock design.

Video game properties such as Tomb Raider and Tekken are being used to promote the Soulja Game products on SouljaWatch with IGN stating that it's unlikely Soulja Boy was given permission from publishers Square Enix and Bandai Namco to use their intellectual properties.

The SouljaGame Console and SouljaGame Handheld are listed as being on sale for $149.99 and $99.99 respectively, a markup from the prices seen on AliExpress with the console being sold for $105.99 and the handheld for $72.99.

"To the first person that purchased my console you just brought tears to my eyes. Tears of joy! Thank you so much for your support I promise to continue my tech company and evolve it in the gaming world. I'm just a kid with a dream," Soulja Boy said on Twitter.
