Macaulay Culkin watches 'Home Alone' with his girlfriends

Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Macaulay Culkin says his girlfriends have been big fans of his movie Home Alone.

The 38-year-old actor said on Wednesday's episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon that's he's "indulged" new partners by watching the 1990 movie during date nights.

Culkin told host Jimmy Fallon he gets recognized more at this time of year due to Home Alone being a Christmas film. The movie plays during TV reruns during the holiday season.

"You got like a new girlfriend and she's flipping through the channels and then there's Home Alone and she's like, 'Ehh, you wanna watch it?'" Culkin said. "You wanna watch Home Alone with Macaulay Culkin, don't you? She's like, 'Yeesss.'"

"I have indulged that and most of the time I'm just muttering my lines under my breath," he added. "Whatever gets her motor running, I guess."

Culkin is dating actress Brenda Song, whom he was first linked to in July 2017. He had nothing but praise for the former Disney Channel star in an interview with the Anna Faris is Unqualified podcast in March.

"I'm with a lady right now and she is so good to me," the star told host Anna Faris.

"She just does nice things, and I feel like at first I didn't know how to be treated well in that kind of way. It was a strange, almost foreign concept," he said. "So that kind of thing ... I realize it is important to me."

Culkin was 10 years old when Home Alone opened in theaters. He has since appeared in the films Saved! and Adam Green's Aladdin, and will star with Song in Seth Green's new movie Changeland.
