Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Hugh Jackman announced a 2019 worldwide arena tour Thursday on Today which will feature the actor singing, dancing and telling stories.
Jackman, who has previously toured in his home country of Australia, will be performing onstage songs from musicals he has appeared in including Les Miserables, The Greatest Showman and other Broadway productions.
An orchestra and a collection of singers and dancers will also be featured as a part of the show. Jackman plans on visiting cities across the U.S., Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
"This is a dream come true for me," Jackman said on Today. "I'm on the back nine of my life now and this is about the front nine, the best parts of the front nine."

Jackman also announced that on Tuesday he will be performing onstage on Today two songs which will be featured on the tour, one from Les Miserables and another from The Greatest Showman.

Jackman can currently be seen portraying former presidential candidate Gary Hart in The Frontrunner.
