Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Pregnant comedian Amy Schumer is back at work following her hospitalization.

The 37-year-old star performed at a stand-up show Saturday in Newark, N.J., after being treated last week for hyperemesis.

Schumer shared a photo Sunday on Instagram of herself thanking the audience at Prudential Hall. She joked about her improved health in the caption.

"Thanks for bringing me back to life Newark (something no one else has ever said)," the actress wrote.

Musician Christian McBride and his wife, Melissa, supported Schumer by attending the show. Schumer posted a picture with the couple backstage.

"Thanks for your support and friendship @chrmcbride and his lovely wife Melissa. Honored you guys came out!" she wrote.

Schumer is expecting her first child with her husband, Chris Fischer. She shared a photo from her hospital bed Thursday after experiencing hyperemesis, or severe morning sickness.

"Baby's fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story," the star told fans.

"I've been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some [expletive]!" she said. "Sending so much love to the doctors and nurses taking great care of me and Tati!"

Schumer showed off her baby bump during an outing with her sister, Kim Caramele, and a friend this month. She announced her pregnancy with the help of friend and former CNN correspondent Jessica Yellin in October.
