Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning composer John Williams is working on original music themes for the attractions in the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge sections of Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The announcement was made this weekend by Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products.

Chapek also revealed details regarding two of the new Star Wars-themed attractions.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run "puts guests behind the controls of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy in one of three unique flight crew roles," the official Star Wars website said.

Meanwhile, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance allows visitors to experience "an epic battle between the Resistance and the First Order."

Galaxy's Edge is set to open at California's Disneyland next summer and Florida's Walt Disney World in the fall of 2019.

Williams' iconic music can be heard in the Harry Potter, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Superman and Jaws blockbuster film franchises, as well as the standalone classics, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Schindler's List.
