Dwyane Wade holds daughter in new photos: 'Daddy's girl'

Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade holds his infant daughter in a pair of cute new photos.

The 36-year-old NBA star and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, shared pictures of their baby girl during a quiet weekend at home.

Wade posted a snapshot of himself cradling his daughter as he watched a football game. The Miami Heat point guard is on paternity leave from the team to be with his family.

"Thanks for letting daddy watch some football!! We're already working together well. #Myhappyplace #AFatherFirst #Beardown," he captioned the post.

Union had shared a photo Saturday of Wade feeding their baby girl from a bottle.

"Daddy's Girl," she wrote, adding a trio of baby emojis.

Wade and Union welcomed their daughter via surrogate last week. Union announced the news in an Instagram post Thursday.

"We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most liveliest of all the lovely days," she wrote.

Union, who stars on the BET series Being Mary Jane, previously shared her fertility struggles in her book, We're Going to Need More Wine. She said she experienced "eight or nine miscarriages" as she struggled to conceive via in vitro fertilization.
