Josh Brolin introduces daughter Westlyn Reign

Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Josh Brolin is giving fans a first glimpse of his newborn daughter.

The 50-year-old actor shared a video Sunday on Instagram after welcoming a baby girl, Westlyn Reign, with wife Kathryn Brolin.

The clip shows Westlyn smiling as she sleeps in a bassinet. The post had received over 551,000 views as of Monday morning.

"Dearest Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce our little girl Westlyn Reign Brolin (Bean). Mama Kathryn was stellar during this miracle birth and Bean is a flawless gem through and through," Brolin wrote.

"We are blessed to the core and appreciate so much the love and support during this pregnancy from ALL who have partaken in our journey, directly and/or indirectly #beanlove #dogtown @kathrynbrolin," he added.

Kathryn, a 31-year-old actress and Brolin's former assistant, shared the same video on her own account.

"Our family's newest (and tiniest) member. Westlyn Reign Brolin," the new mom wrote. "I love you so much already. Nothing compares to this... My heart is totally different forever. @joshbrolin thanks for this little life of ours."

Brolin is also parent to 30-year-old son Trevor and 24-year-old daughter Eden with first wife Alice Adair. He announced in an Instagram post in May he was expecting a baby girl with Kathryn.

"There's a new sheriff in town, and she's no bigger than a sweet potato. Hand on to your hats. #jbkstucktogether #lilbeanterritory #loveisaslovedoes," the star wrote.

Brolin recently starred in the Marvel films Deadpool 2 and Avengers: Infinity War. He will reprise Thanos in a new Avengers movie scheduled for release in May 2019.
