Gwyneth Paltrow posts wedding photo: 'Best day of our lives'

Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Gwyneth Paltrow is giving fans a glimpse into the "best day" of her life.

The 46-year-old actress posted a photo Friday on Instagram from her September nuptials to producer Brad Falchuk.

The picture shows Paltrow and Falchuk holding hands as they walk down the aisle during the recessional. The couple's friends and family showered the bride and groom with petals and leaves.

"Took me a minute to get it together, but at long last, for those who have requested, a little look inside the best day of our lives," Paltrow captioned the post.

The Goop founder shared a slideshow and more details in a post on the company's website.

"Seventy guests descended on Amangasett to bear witness and raise a glass to GP and her groom, Brad Falchuk," the post reads.

"Perfect weather, a superlative dinner, a dance party for the ages, and a dress that defies adjectives. Hours later, when the last guest went home and the last champagne flue was cleared away, the day ended as it began -- with beauty, love, and very happy people."

Paltrow and Falchuk tied the knot Sept. 29 in New York. Paltrow, who was previously wed to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, recently told Glamour U.K. it was "fantastic" to find love with Falchuk and marry a second time.

"I feel so lucky and grateful," the star told the magazine. "It's different to be in your mid-forties; do it again and bring all your experience, your pain, your happiness, suffering -- everything."

"It's actually very heartening," she said. "I feel very optimistic!"
