June 27 (UPI) -- Aubrey Plaza celebrated friend and "dark lord" Nick Offerman's birthday Tuesday.

Plaza, whose birthday also falls June 26, penned a funny post for her former Parks and Recreation co-star on the shared occasion.

Plaza, who turned 34 on Tuesday, posted a photo of herself with Offerman, who turned 48. The actress is shown playing a saxophone, while Offerman is dressed as his Parks and Recreation alter ego, Duke Silver.

"haggy birthday to me and my dark lord @nickofferman who i shall obey until the murky waters swallow me once and for all," Plaza captioned the picture.

Offerman spent his birthday with his wife, actress Megan Mullally, in Santa Monica, Calif.

"All my birthday dreams coming true @robdelaney @MeganMullally," he captioned a photo of himself outside the Creams & Dreams ice cream shop.

Plaza and Offerman played April Ludgate and Ron Swanson, respectively, on Parks and Recreation, which ended in 2015 after a seven-season run on NBC. The series also starred Amy Poehler, who said in May she's open to a revival.
