May 31 (UPI) -- Rapper Offset, a member of the group Migos, posted on Twitter how he rewarded the man he says saved his life following a car crash.

"Thank you Jmmar for helping save my life. God is good," Offset captioned a photo of himself Wednesday standing next to the man, identified as Jamar. Offset gave him a Nissan Altima.

Offset was recently involved in a car crash in Atlanta, TMZ reported. He totaled his green Dodge Challenger and received medical treatment at a hospital.

Jamar was walking when he noticed the crash. He helped pull Offset out of his car and took him to the hospital on foot, Page Six reported.

"He was walking from work when he seen me climbing out my car," Offset said in a since deleted Instagram post. "So I bought him a car."

Offset will join the rest of Migos onstage to perform at the 2018 BET Awards on June 24.
