'American Pie' star Chris Klein introduces daughter Isla

May 30 (UPI) -- American Pie star Chris Klein is a dad of two.

The 39-year-old actor introduced daughter Isla in an Instagram post Tuesday after welcoming the infant with wife Laina Rose.

Klein gave fans a glimpse of his baby girl's face in a black and white photo. He said Rose gave birth Saturday, May 26.

"Isla Rose Klein. 8lbs 7oz of healthy baby girl. Laina and Isla took the journey together with Courage, Strength and Epic Grace," the star captioned the post.

"My Girls, I am so proud of you and so grateful that you were delivered safely back to me. I love you Laina. Thank you for making me a father again. [photo by] @bernadettemadden," he added.

Rose also shared the news on her own account.

"She is here! Isla Rose Klein made her arrival this Saturday afternoon. I've been amazed with how the second time around things just fall into place and how quickly it seems as if it has always been the four of us," the mom of two wrote.

"Thank you to my amazing Husband @iamchrisklein for holding my hand every step of the way and to Easton for already being an amazing Big Brother. You three are my world, my everything," she said.

Klein and Rose married in August 2015, and welcomed their first child, son Frederick, the next year. The actor is best known for playing Chris "Oz" Ostreicher in the American Pie movies.
