Hugh Grant to marry girlfriend Anna Eberstein

May 21 (UPI) -- British actor Hugh Grant plans to marry for the first time.

The BBC reported Monday the 57-year-old star will wed his girlfriend, Swedish producer Anna Eberstein.

Grant and Eberstein will tie the knot later this month, according to The Sun. Wedding banns, a public announcement of an impending marriage, were posted at the Kensington and Chelsea register office in London.

Grant and Eberstein welcomed their third child together in the spring. The actor's ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley confirmed the news on Watch What Happens Live in March.

"He had another one last week. He has five," Hurley said.

"He's actually an enchanting dad -- really, really sweet," she added before joking, "Having these kids has transformed him from a very miserable person into a fairly miserable person. It's improved him."

Grant is also parent to two children with Tinglan Hong. He will next star in the BBC miniseries A Very English Scandal, which is based on the John Preston book of the same name.
