May 18 (UPI) -- WWE and Total Bellas star Nikki Bella said that she can see herself getting back together with her former fiance John Cena. "I love John so much," she said during an interview with Page Six Thursday. "He is such an amazing man, I'm just right now going through a period of time where I need to focus on me and work on me."

"A healthy me is a healthy us, so I do have hope for our future, and I do think that we'll have that royal happy ending, but only time can tell," she said.
Bella announced in April that the pair had split and called off their wedding plans after being together for six years. Cena famously proposed to Bella in the middle of a WWE ring last year at WrestleMania 33.
Cena recently made headlines when he appeared on NBC's Today and said he still loves Bella and wants to start a family with her -- something that Cena has been against in the past as seen on Total Divas and Total Bellas.
"I believe 100% he wants kids. It makes me want to run back and jump into his arms," Bella said about Cena's family comments to TMZ.
Total Bellas Season 3 is set to premiere Sunday. The new season is set to chronicle the breakup between Bella and Cena.
"What's hard at times and what people don't realize about my relationship is I'm alone a lot and I'm alone in these big, beautiful homes," Bella in a preview for Total Bellas about how she felt lonely during her engagement.
"But to be honest, since we've gotten engaged, John and I have probably shared our bed together maybe 30 days total out of, like, six months. Or 40 days," she continued.
