May 16 (UPI) -- Rapper T.I. was arrested Wednesday for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness in Henry County, Georgia.

T.I., whose legal name is Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested around 4 a.m. Wednesday as he was returning home to his residence located inside a gated subdivision. The 37-year-old got into an argument with the subdivision's security guard because the guard wouldn't let him in without a key, WSB-TV Atlanta reported.

The guard eventually let T.I. enter, but the rapper returned to continue arguing, TMZ reported. Police were then called to the scene.

He was booked into jail and has since been released from custody.
