May 16 (UPI) -- Frances Bean Cobain is losing one of her late dad's iconic guitars in her divorce.

The 25-year-old artist and model will give up the 1959 Martin D-18E guitar Kurt Cobain famously played during his November 1993 performance with Nirvana on MTV Unplugged, according to E! News. Kurt died months later at age 27.

People confirmed Cobain will lose the guitar in her divorce settlement with Isaiah Silva, which was finalized Monday. The model had asked the judge to let her keep the guitar after denying she gave it to Silva as a gift.

Cobain will keep the couple's home and won't pay spousal support to Silva, according to TMZ. Documents show Silva will only receive the guitar if Jessica Sullivan, the mother of his son, immediately vacates his house with Cobain.

Cobain and Silva split in February 2016 after less than two years of marriage. The pair's divorce was finalized in November.
