Oscars: Judd, Hayek, Sciorra present Time's Up video

March 5 (UPI) -- Ashley Judd, Salma Hayek and Annabella Sciorra --three women who have accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment -- took the stage together Sunday at the Academy Awards to present a Time's Up video on diversity in film and the changing face of Hollywood.

"This year many spoke their truth and the journey ahead is long, but slowly, a new path has emerged, " Sciorra said.

"The changes we are witnessing are being driven by the powerful sound of new voices, different voices, of our voices, who are joining together in a mighty chorus that is finally saying Time's Up," Judd said.

The video, which offered commentary on a number of diverse films featuring women and minorities behind and in front of the camera, including Lady Bird, Get Out, Wonder Woman and Black Panther, among others, was opened by Mira Sorvino, another accuser of Weinstein who earlier posed on the red carpet with Judd.

"This entire fall, the #MeToo, the Time's Up movements, everyone is getting a voice to express something that's been happening forever, not only in Hollywood but in every walk of life," Sorvino, who is joined by Dee Rees, Ava DuVernay, Hayek, Sarah Silverman, Kumail Nanjiani, Barry Jenkins, Lee Daniels, and Greta Gerwig, in the clip said.

"Now straight white dudes can watch movies starring me and you relate to me! It's not that hard! You try doing that. I've been doing it my whole life," Nanjiani said.
