March 5 (UPI) -- Smackdown Live's Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be the featured Superstars in Boom! Studios' WWE comic book series starting in June.

The best friends and partners who will be battling for the WWE Championship on Sunday at Fastlane, will be entered into an ongoing storyline titled Fight Forever, starting with issue No. 18 from the creative team of writer Dennis Hopeless and artist Serg Acuna.

The storyline will chronicle the pair's alliance, which started in October when Zayn saved Owens during his Hell in a Cell match against Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon, and how they have continued to feud with McMahon into the new year.

"Finally the two greatest Superstars in WWE history are being featured in a WWE comic book series," Zayn said in a video alongside Owens released Sunday.

"We take center stage so you can learn the truth about our fight against the injustices perpetrated by the Smackdown Live commissioner," Owens said.
