Feb. 16 (UPI) -- WWE power couple The Miz and Maryse hosted a pink-themed baby shower that was attended by celebrity friends such as Avril Lavigne and Ryan Cabrera. Maryse, who announced alongside her husband that she was pregnant with the couple's first child, a daughter, in September, posted photos from the baby shower on Instagram Thursday.

The event was decorated with giant pink balloons that spelled out baby, pink flowers and featured a photo booth along with a pink, gold and white four-tier cake.
"It was so dreamy, elegant and beautiful!!!!" Maryse said alongside a photo collection highlighting all of the pink decorations.
"Such a blast last night!!!! Thank you to all my friends and family for making it soooo special!!!" she said alongside an image of herself kissing The Miz inside of the photo booth.
"I need to go to baby showers more often. Ain't nothing like pounding beer out of baby bottles. Wahoo. So much fun. Congrats to @marysemizanin and @mikethemiz we had a blast @ryancabrera #itsagirl #babyshower," Lavigne said alongside a group photo of herself with Cabrera, Maryse and The Miz inside the photo booth on Instagram.
WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler and Total Divas star Rosa Mendes also attended the baby shower.
The Miz and Maryse are set to star in their own reality series on the USA Network titled Miz & Mrs. that will debut sometime in 2018.
