Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez is switching up her look ahead of her next big project.
The 25-year-old singer and actress showed off a new hairstyle in Instagram Stories videos Tuesday after attending the Coach show at New York Fashion Week.
The posts show Gomez rocking long, brown hair and wispy bangs. The star previously sported short, blonde hair with dark roots.
"Just know that my lack and absence on social media is not a lack of my love," Gomez told her 133 million followers. "I'm working on a bunch of stuff and I will love on you guys so soon, I promise."
"Also, last thing -- I might get in trouble for saying this -- but I'm doing some really, really cool stuff with Coach that's coming," she added. "See, this is why I can't be on social media. I just say everything!"
Gomez was named a brand ambassador for Coach in 2016, and stars in the brand's new spring campaign. She is also working on her highly anticipated third studio album, although she has yet to set a release date.
"My next album has been forever in the making," the singer said in the March issue of Harper's Bazaar. "When people ask me why, I'm honest about it: It's because I haven't been ready. I mean, point-blank, I don't feel confident enough in where my music is yet."
"If that takes 10 years, then it takes 10 years. I don't care," she added. "Right now I just want to be super intentional with all the things I'm doing."
