Camila Cabello gets close to Matthew Hussey in Mexico

Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello appears to have a new man in her life.

E! News reported Sunday the 20-year-old singer is dating Matthew Hussey after she was spotted kissing the 30-year-old British author and television personality during a beach day in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

"Camila recently started dating Matthew," a source said. "It wasn't something she expected, but she knew of him and really enjoys his work."

"She has been following him for a while and was a fan, but it took her by surprise that she has gotten to know him on a deeper level," the insider added.

Cabello was all smiles in a black bikini as she and Hussey frolicked on the beach Friday. She had hinted at a new relationship in an interview with Beats 1 in January, saying there was "maybe" someone special in her life.

"Now it's a lot of loving," the star said.

Hussey is the author of Get the Guy and a former matchmaker on Ready for Love. He shared a post about attraction Monday, saying "real attraction" is made up of "sexual chemistry + emotional connection + respect."
