Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Luther and The Dark Tower star Idris Elba has proposed to his girlfriend, former Miss Vancouver Sabrina Dhowre, at a London movie theater.
E! News reported the engagement Saturday.

"Another @riocinema first!" Rio Cinema tweeted. "Still 5 days to Valentine's Day but @idriselba went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend live on stage this morning before a preview of his film #Yardie. ... She said yes and there was much clapping and cheering."
Elba has been on the promotion trail for his movie Molly's Game. He has a 3-year-old son named Winston with his ex-girlfriend Naiyana Garth.
