"I would like to thank my fans, friends, and my #SexandtheCity colleagues for the outpouring of support for myself and family over the past 72 hours," she wrote.

Cattrall announced on social media Sunday that her brother, Chris Cattrall, was discovered dead after going missing last week. Parker and Nixon were among those to leave condolences in the comments.

"Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx," Parker wrote on Instagram.

"Hey Kim such awful news. So sorry to hear. Sending you love. XO," Nixon added.

Cattrall starred with Parker, Nixon and Kristen Davis on the HBO series Sex and the City and in two Sex and the City movies. The actress recently clashed with her co-stars after turning down a third film and declaring they were "never" friends.

"[I was] just heartbroken," Parker said of Cattrall's comments in an interview with Watch What Happens Live last week. "I found it very upsetting because that's not the way I recall our experience."

Cattrall played Samantha Jones on Sex and the City, with Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Nixon as Miranda Hobbs and Davis as Charlotte York. The most recent film, Sex and the City 2, opened in theaters in 2010.
