Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Jamie Lynn Spears was feeling grateful on the one-year anniversary of her daughter's ATV incident.

The 26-year-old singer and actress reflected on daughter Maddie's "miracle" recovery in an Instagram post Monday after the 9-year-old nearly drowned in February 2017.

"1 year Miracle Anniversary...." Spears captioned a throwback photo of herself visiting Maddie at her hospital bed.

"THANK YALL for your prayers during that time, and THANK YOU GOD for my beautiful family," she added.

Maddie was hospitalized in February 2017 after driving her ATV into a pond while trying to avoid a ditch. Spears thanked her daughter's doctors in a post in December, calling the incident "the hardest milestone" her family has faced.

"The hardest milestone me and my family have ever faced was almost losing our beautiful Maddie, but thanks to God and the two angels in this picture we were able to celebrate Maddie turning 9 years old all together," the star wrote.

"This milestone became a true miracle, and we are forever grateful for that," she added.

Spears, the younger sister of singer Britney Spears, shares Maddie with husband Jamie Watson. The star announced in December that she's pregnant with her second child, writing, "Maddie is FINALLY going to be a big sister."
