Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Eva Longoria ringed in the new year Monday by posting a photo of herself cradling her baby bump.

"New year, new adventures!" the actress said alongside a photo of her hands holding her baby bump while wearing a red flannel shirt. Other sets of hands are seen doing the same.

"I'm so grateful to my beautiful family for giving this new baby so much love already!" Longoria continued. "#HappyNewYear #2018."

Longoria announced in December that she was pregnant with her first child with husband Jose "Pepe" Baston.

Longoria, 42, and Baston, 49, tied the knot in May 2016 after dating for three years. Baston, the president of Televisa, has three children with ex-wife Natalia Esperon.
