Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara get engaged, share video on Instagram

Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Pop singer Meghan Trainor shared on Instagram Friday a video of her beau, actor Daryl Sabara, proposing to her.

The clip shows Sabara getting down on one knee and offering Trainor a diamond ring, while they are outside surrounded by snow and holiday lights. Trainor looks surprised and appears to cry, then hugs and kisses her new fiance.

"I SAID YESSSS!!!! For my 24th birthday, the love of my life @darylsabara made all of my dreams come true. He proposed to me under a tunnel of beautiful Christmas lights and surprised me with my family and friends," Trainor wrote in a message that accompanied the home movie. "I'm still in shock. I've never been this happy! Thank you Daryl, my family and friends for making me feel like a real princess and thank you @ryan.trainor for this amazing video that I'm gonna watch over and over again."

E! News said Trainor has been dating the 25-year-old Spy Kids star since July 2, 2016.
