Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild welcome second child, a baby girl

Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Nicky Hilton and her husband James Rothschild welcomed their second child together recently, a baby girl named Teddy Rothschild.

Hilton made the announcement on Twitter Friday after she gave birth on Wednesday.

"Christmas came early! On December 20th James and I welcomed a baby girl, Teddy Rothschild into the world. Feeling very blessed this holiday season," she said.

A representative for the 34-year-old socialite confirmed that Hilton and Rothschild were expecting their second child in July. The couple are already parents to 1-year-old Lily Grace Victoria Rothschild.

Hilton and Rothschild, a 32-year-old banking heir, started dating in 2011 before getting engaged in 2014. They tied the knot at Kensington Palace in London in July 2015.

Hilton made headlines in November when her sister Paris Hilton hosted a lavish tea party for her baby shower that was attended by their mother Kathy Hilton and other family and friends.
