Tristan Thompson 'so happy' about Khloe Kardashian's pregnancy

Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Tristan Thompson is thrilled to be expecting with girlfriend Khloe Kardashian.

The 26-year-old NBA star reflected on his "journey" with Kardashian in an Instagram comment Wednesday after the 33-year-old television personality publicly confirmed she is pregnant with their first child.

"My love, Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your journey and entering your life that day at the bel air hotel. One of the best moments in my life," Thompson recounted of his first meeting with Kardashian.

"I'm soo happy to be on this journey together with you and creating this angel from the man above," he gushed. "Everyday I give thanks to him for bring us together. I love you soo much and I know our little angel feels the love we share together and will know that mommy and daddy loves them unconditional forever and ever amen."

"Btw, shoutout the brodie @brandonjennings for bringing this King and Queen together. Love my G," the athlete added, referencing how fellow basketball player Brandon Jennings introduced him to Kardashian.

Kardashian confirmed her pregnancy in an Instagram post Wednesday following months of speculation. She shared the news by posting a black and white photo of Thompson cradling her bare baby bump.

"My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby!" the star wrote.

E! News reported Kardashian's sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian have been giving the mom-to-be plenty of advice. Kourtney shares three kids, Mason, Penelope and Reign, with Scott Disick, while Kim is parent to North and Saint with Kanye West.

"Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian have been giving her a lot of pregnancy tips and Khloe calls them for every little question she has," a source said. "She is really relying on her sisters through this pregnancy. Kourtney always shares her health tips."

"The whole family is especially happy for Khloe's pregnancy, and thinks that this is going to be her best year yet," the insider added. "They all think she deserves it, and is in a really good place in her life."
