The gameplay trailer recreates key moments from the franchise -- including when Frieza kills Krillin, resulting in Goku turning into Super Saiyan for the first time and Gohan turning into his Super Saiyan 2 form in his fight against Cell.

Bandai Namco has also announced an upcoming open beta of the game that will be available to play on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One starting Jan. 14 at 3 a.m. ET and ending Jan. 16 at 2:59 a.m. ET.

The open beta will allow players to experience Dragon Ball FighterZ before its Jan. 26 release.
