'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's' Rachel Bloom builds ball pit inside basement

Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Rachel Bloom shared on Twitter recently that she transformed her basement into a ball pit.

"Well, we did it. We put a ball pit in our house," the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star and creator said alongside a photo of herself smiling while standing next to her creation.

"@gregorcorp and I worked at it for house. But we did it. Our dreams came true," she continued, tagging her husband Dan Gregor.

Bloom shared more details on the house project while responding to fellow Crazy Ex-Girlfriend creator Aline Brosh McKenna on Twitter.

"Oh. It's permanent. We used a mattress, some foam, a bunch of blankets, a couple of dog fences and got a [explicit] ton of cheap balls on Amazon. This is a now a permanent art installation/whimsy factory," she said.

"This is what happens when you buy a house with a finished basement that has ceilings too low to legally be included in the cost," she continued.

Bloom on Instagram shared before and after pictures of the basement before it was filled featuring Gregor and a video of herself pouring the balls into the pit in slow motion.

"The ball pit's humble beginnings. Empty part of our basement + mattress + foam + dog fences + old blankets + [explicit] ton of plastic balls from Amazon," she said.
