Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss celebrate Taylor Swift's 28th birthday

Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez and Karlie Kloss were among the stars to celebrate Taylor Swift's 28th birthday.

The 25-year-old singer and actress and the model, also 25, dedicated sweet posts to Swift on her birthday Wednesday.

"I'm glad you were born. You write all the thoughts some aren't able to articulate. (ME!)," Gomez captioned a video of herself and Swift voguing for the camera.

"Thank you for giving a voice to this world that is authentic and inspiring. I wish some knew how big your heart actually is.. it's fierce, bold and freaking wild with light. I'm glad you protect that. Love you @taylorswift," she added.

Kloss posted a throwback photo on her own account of herself and Swift looking like sisters. The picture appeared to be a behind-the-scenes shot from the pair's photo shoot for the March 2015 cover of Vogue, according to People.

"Happy happy birthday @taylorswift!" Kloss wrote, adding a star emoji.

Swift also received birthday messages from Ruby Rose, Martha Hunt, Lily Aldridge, Ellen DeGeneres and other stars. DeGeneres celebrated by posting a video of Swift's first appearance on her show at age 18.

"Happy birthday, @TaylorSwift13! Remember the first time you were here?" the television personality tweeted.

Swift's birthday follows the release of her sixth studio album, Reputation, which debuted in November. The record includes the singles "Look What You Made Me Do" and "...Ready for It?"
