James Corden, wife welcome third child, Harry Styles hosts 'Late Late Show'

Dec. 13 (UPI) -- James Corden and his wife Julia Carey welcomed their third child together Tuesday, which led to Harry Styles stepping in to guest host the Late Late Show.

"Today we welcomed a beautiful baby daughter into the world. Both she and her mother are doing great," Corden said on Twitter announcing his third child's birth.

"We can't stop smiling," he continued. "Thank you Harry for stepping in to host the show at 2 and a half hours notice!"

Corden and Carey are already parents to 6-year-old son Max and 2-year-old daughter Carey.

Styles, when hosting the Late Late Show, joked about having just visited Corden and his newborn inside the hospital. "Was just at the hospital before I came to fill in and she looks a lot like James -- mainly because James looks like a giant baby," the One Direction alum said.

"I was sitting at home two hours ago in this suit, obviously," Styles said. "I got the call Jules was going into labor so James naturally called the funniest man he knew... he obviously wasn't available."

Styles spent the night interviewing guests Owen Wilson, Jane Krakowski and Joel Edgerton.

The pop star and late night host were recently seen kissing each other on the Late Late Show during a special Christmas edition of Carpool Karaoke.
