Celebrities stand behind bullied student Keaton Jones: 'It gets better'

Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Celebrities including Chris Evans, Millie Bobby Brown, Snoop Dogg and Mark Hamill have stood up for bullied student Keaton Jones on Twitter and Instagram following the release of a viral video featuring the middle schooler.

The video, released by Keaton's mom Kimberly Jones, features the young boy sobbing as he describes the bullying he experiences at school which includes fellow students making fun of his appearance and pouring milk on him.

"Why do they bully? What's the point of it?" Keaton says in the clip. "People that are different don't need to be criticized about it. It's not their fault, but if you are made fun of, just don't let it bother you."

"Stay strong, Keaton. Don't let them make you turn cold," Evans said while sharing Keaton's video.

"I promise it gets better. While those punks at your school are deciding what kind of people they want to be in this world, how would you and your mom like to come to the Avengers premiere in LA next year?" the Captain America star continued, inviting Keaton to the opening of Avengers: Infinity War, which is due in theaters on May 4.

"Keaton, this is so accurate. Why do people do this? I think your sooo cool Keaton! I wanna be your friend ( but srsly) ur freakin awesome," Brown said offering friendship.

"Keaton-Don't waste time wondering why a bully would be so mean-They're sad people who think hurting others will make them feel better because they really don't like themselves," Hamill said. They're just jealous because you're so smart & handsome."

Hailee Steinfeld also invited Keaton to attend a movie premiere. "I would love for you to be my date at the Pitch Perfect 3 premiere on Tuesday," the actress and singer said in a video.

"The fact that he still has the sympathy and compassion for other people when he's going through himself is a testament to who he is," Justin Bieber said in a black and white video addressed to Keaton and his fans. "This kid is all-time. He's a legend," he continued.

"Say lil Man U gotta friend in me for life hit me on dm so we can chop it up love is the only way to beat hate," Snopp Dogg said while sharing Keaton's video.

"I'm so Sad and angry like I'm OD hot," Cardi B said in response to Keaton's struggle. "Please teach your kids not to be bullies .Teach them how to be tough but not too pick on others," she continued.
