Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Big Band Theory star Melissa Rauch announced on Instagram Monday the birth of her first child, a baby girl with her husband Winston Rauch.
"I am beyond over the moon to share that our beautiful baby girl, Sadie Rauch, has arrived and our hearts are bursting at the seams with love for her," the actress said alongside an image that featured the message, "It's a Girl."
"I will never take for granted the difficult road it took to get here. To those on that road: I'm sending you so much love today and always," she continued.
Rauch, 37, and her husband, announced in July that she was pregnant after having a miscarriage.
"The miscarriage I experienced was one of the most profound sorrows I have ever felt in my life. It kickstarted a primal depression that lingered in me," Rauch said at the time. "I know it's made me grateful for every moment of my current pregnancy, and I hope it will make me a better mother in some capacity when I can finally hold the child that has been in my heart in my arms."
Rauch plays microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz on The Big Band Theory who is soon to become a mother of two.
