Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Bruno Mars dominated the 2017 Soul Train Awards presented by BET Sunday. Mars took home five awards during the ceremony including Best R&B/Soul Male Artist, Video of the Year for single "24k Magic" which also won Best Dance Performance, Album/Mixtape of the Year for 24k Magic and "That's What I Like," for Song of the Year.

SZA followed behind winning two awards including Best New Artist and Best R&B/Soul Female Artist.
Other notable winners included Cardi B who won the Rhythm & Bars Award for "Bodak Yellow," Toni Braxton who was honored with the Don Cornelius Legend Award, and R&B trio SWV who was honored with the Lady of Soul Award, among others.
The event, hosted by Erykah Badu that was filmed Nov. 5 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, featured performances by Braxton, SWV, Tamar Braxton, 112, Tank, Kirk Franklin, Method Man, Keyshia Cole, Daniel Caesar, DVSN, Le'Andria Johnson, Demetria McKinney, Ledisi, Luke James, Major, Ro James and U-GOD.
