"Wishing a very happy 70th wedding anniversary to Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh," the palace tweeted.

People reported Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were joined by their children, including Prince Charles, and grandchildren, including Prince William and Prince Harry, for a celebratory dinner at Windsor Castle. Prince William brought his wife, Kate Middleton, but it is unknown if Prince Harry's girlfriend, Meghan Markle, was present.
